CapMed Division to Provide 13,500 Personal Health Records for Spring Valley Hospital, Las Vegas

NEWTOWN, PA, July 29, 2005 – Bio-Imaging Technologies, Inc. (“Bio-Imaging”) (NASDAQ/NMS: BITI) announced today that its CapMed division has customized 13,500 Personal Health Record (PHR) CD-ROMs for Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The PHR is branded to Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, customized for both maternity and general health management, to serve as an interactive patient outreach solution to improve health within the Spring Valley community. Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center is owned and operated by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., one of the nation's largest hospital management companies.

Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center is planning a launch of their branded PHR at its health fair, July 30. They will also be making PHR available expectant moms, for patients being discharged from the Hospital, and by request on the Spring Valley Hospital website.

With the 13,500 PHRs distributed by Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, CapMed now has nearly 500,000 award-winning personal health records distributed throughout the country, and internationally.
