(“Bio-Imaging”) (NASDAQ/NMS: BITI) today announced that its Personal Health Management Division, CapMed, has partnered with Dr. Notes, Inc. to support the Dr. Notes HealthyPass, a portable and secure personal health record that will work in conjunction with their clinical management software. The Personal Health Record/Continuity of Care Record integration that will be offered with the Dr. Notes HealthyPass supports one of the core components of the National Health Information Infrastructure. Furthermore, this supports the President’s plan to ensure that most American's have electronic health records within the next 10 years.” The Dr. Notes HealthyPass, a private-label version of the CapMed Personal HealthKey™, is a secure USB-enabled key chain device that will enable the secure communication of health information between patients and providers. This will allow patients to receive the Continuity of Care Record from their providers, save this information into their personal health record, add self-reported data to the record, and communicate this information between providers via the USB-port available on most computers.
