Delaware Based CapMed’s Innovative Products, CapMed Personal Health Record™ and Personal HealthKey™, Featured on Health Journal Television

Wilmington, DE, May 30, 2003—CapMed’s powerful medical tools, Personal Health Record™ (PHR) and Personal HealthKey™ will be the focus of Alexander Haig’s Health Journal Television, a magazine-style medical series that illustrates solutions to industry challenges. The segment is scheduled to air on May 31 and June 1 locally on CN8.

The segment, which was filmed on location at Lancaster General Hospital, demonstrates the benefits of The CapMed Personal Health Record and Personal HealthKey for individuals and health care professionals. The CapMed PHR is an easy-to-use, affordable, reliable and secure management tool with desktop storage and access that helps individuals track, manage and monitor family health records and helps health care professionals reduce errors, meet compliance regulations and provide improved patient care. The Personal HealthKey transports personal health information privately and securely on a key chain. The HealthKey plugs into any computer USB port with an emergency information auto-launch and password-protected and data-encrypted health records, including images. The HealthKey can be easily updated and viewed with no additional hardware or software needs, so, unlike a smart card, it’s never obsolete.

Health Journal Television airs on public television, regional affiliates, independent carriers and United Airlines. In addition, it’s distributed nationwide to medical professional audiences on the Health and Science Television Network and Long Term Care Network and is beamed directly, via satellite, to major medical corporations via Education at Satellite Services (formerly PBS The Business and Technology Network) and can be accessed on Yahoo.
